A key mission of CSAM is to convene tables of dialogue to further the understanding of addictive disorders. People with substance use and other addictive disorders, and in particular those who come from racialized or other marginalized groups, routinely and profoundly experience the adverse outcomes of poor drug policy. This symposium offers a forum to both highlight successes in addressing systemic barriers to care delivery and have honest conversations about our way forward as a society.
